MEET carole
THROUGH art & design I express myself. Life gives us so much inspiration, and For me navigating the vast experiences of my 57 years through art & design has been everything from joyful to cathartic. I approach my work with a blend of professionalism and raw creativity, and what RESULTS is always something to celebrate. In design I use my art. I paint lots of subjects in styles both real and ethereal. I paint large scale all the way down to tiny canvases, whatever my mood or assignment. What one feels from my work means everything to me. Collaborating to give my client more than what they expect is my goal, and working this way the past 34 years has been super rewarding.
Carole is one of the region's most recognizable names in the arts. An Alabama native and Auburn University graduate, Carole hails from a long line of talented artists, and has worked professionally and taught/inspired students for 34 years. She has been featured frequently in the press throughout her career, Southern Living (2008) most notable, and was the keynote speaker for the Congressional Art Competition in Washington D.C. in 2013. She has taught students in the Tuscany region of Italy off and on since 2009. Carole also was awarded a month-long residency in France where she painted in 2019. And recently (2024) been Huntsville City Lifestyle Magazine's "Most Stylish" and was recognized for her interior design work of her own home. "Abstract art speaks in a language of shape, form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from one person to the next. This particular piece spoke to me and connects in parallel with my mood and personality. As I stare at it, I see my goals and destiny upon the horizon ever so close, but also so far away.The path to get there is often unclear, foggy, or hazy. Unsure of the pathway or waves in front of me, but a reassurance of solid ground and
salvation awaits me.
